Ok, fans - this about wraps up this vacation. I hope both of you have enjoyed reading about our 3 week See America Tour which has taken us through 16 states (not including the 6 day trip to Amsterdam, Memphis and MSP that preceded all this). From Seattle to Portland and Minneapolis.....onward to the Appalachian Trail in Vermont...winding up on the drive from Candlewood Lake to Naples. The winner is........... a tie between the Columbia River Gorge and the Blue Ridge Parkway between Blowing Rock and Asheville. The AT hike and Antietam were close seconds. So were Portland and Seattle. Minneapolis was pretty cool, too. So was our visit to F5 in Westport. And then there was Candlewood Lake. Heck, it was all good - but now it's time to head back to the salt mine.
Ok, make it three readers...I'm just a little behind! Sounds like an amazing journey! Next year....grandkids :)
