Quick weekend trip to visit Craig in San Diego. Pat logged some shopping time on Friday while Paul watched March Madness at an outdoor cafe. On Saturday, Craig drove us through the Cleveland National Forest to the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park to see the wildflowers in bloom. The desert blooms only happen for a few weeks each year - lucky for us they've had some rain and we got to see lots of color. Sunday found us in Pacific Beach where we toured Craig's workplace and had lunch in town. Afterwards we headed to Craig's house and Paul took a spin on Craig's new Harley Sportster. Pat passed the art of pirogi making on to Craig and we ended our day with a nice dinner of fresh pirogi. Off to the airport on Monday morning to stand by for our flight home....
