Paia
Today my cousin Diane and I explored the beachy hippie town called 'Paia' on Maui's north shore. Paia was once a booming sugar cane plantation town and it's old plantation style wooden buildings are still intact. This quaint little town has boutiques, surf shops, restaurants and even an old fashioned tattoo parlor. Hookipa beach in Paia is considered the windsurfing capital of the world.
